Is it a battery-powered product?

No, it’s a power cord-operated device. Before using it, connect the power cord to the device, then to the 110 V socket.

The suction power is not strong enough, what to do?

The maximum suction power was determined by ENTs to make sure that absolutely no harm can be done by overuse or misuse. Dry, very thick mucus should be dissolved by a mild saline solution in order to reach the device’s full potential. After using the solution, wait a few minutes, wipe excess discharge with a tissue, then reuse the nasal aspirator as directed.
The nose tip is blocked or the Colibri head was incorrectly assembled. Take the Colibri head apart and clean it. After drying the parts of the Colibri head, assemble them according to the user manual.
The air mesh is clogged. Replace the air mesh according to the user manual’s “Cleaning, maintenance and storage” section.

What to do if the device has turned off?

In case of overuse or if insufficient ventilation is provided, the thermal switch switches off the device and will prevent reuse for approx. 50 minutes for safety reasons.

Liquid or mucus got into the connecting tube. What to do?

The Colibri head was not held in the correct position. Switch off the device and clean and dry the Colibri head and the connecting tube. Check the air mesh and replace it if necessary.

How can the Nosiboo Pro be cleaned?

Cleaning of the Colibri head: Remove the connecting tube and the nose tip, then take apart the Colibri housing. After that wash the collared tube, the nose tip, and the Colibri housing in lukewarm water and dishwashing detergent and let them dry. The housing of the devices should be cleaned only with a dry, soft cloth; do not use any liquids, detergents or chemicals.

Tips & tricks

The patented Colibri head

With proper use of the device, the liquid cannot exit from the inside of the head, safely preventing the nasal mucus from getting into the device. Do not use the Colibri head and the device without the collared tube.

Easy to clean

Remove the connecting tube and the nose tip, then take the Colibri housing apart. Wash the parts with liquid soap and lukewarm water. Let the parts dry completely before the next use. Easy!

Stable position

Sit your child onto your lap, hold them in your arms or sit them into an upright position supporting their back with a pillow. You may also sit them in an infant bouncer or infant seat.
